Day 2: Jungle Safari and Exploration of Sundarban's Wildlife

Morning: Start of Sundarban Delta Safari

8:00 AM: After a refreshing night's sleep, it's time for the highlight of your Sundarban tour: the Sundarban Delta Safari. We'll begin the day with an early morning boat ride, gliding through the labyrinth of rivers, creeks, and islands that form the Sundarban delta, the largest mangrove forest in the world.

8:30 AM: Our first stop will be the Sajnekhali Tiger Reserve, where our knowledgeable government-appointed tourist guide will join us for a guided jungle safari. The Sajnekhali Watch Tower is one of the best spots for catching a glimpse of the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. While tiger sightings are rare, the sheer excitement of traversing through tiger territory adds an adrenaline rush to the tour.

Mid-Morning: Thrilling Boat Safari

9:30 AM: The boat safari continues through various rivers like Pirkhali, Sarakkhali, Gazikhali, and Deul Varani, where you'll encounter a variety of wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for spotted deer, wild boars, water monitor lizards, snakes, and the ever-watchful crocodiles basking on the riverbanks.

Additionally, birdwatchers can spot species such as kingfishers, herons, egrets, and if you're fortunate, you may even catch a fleeting glimpse of the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger swimming across the creeks!

Afternoon: Wildlife from a Unique Vantage Point

12:30 PM: One of the most thrilling parts of the safari is the visit to the Do-Banki Tiger Reserve Area. The highlight here is the 896-meter-long canopy walk. This raised, netted walkway allows you to walk through the forest canopy and observe wildlife from above, offering a unique perspective on the Sundarban jungle.

1:30 PM: Our next stop will be Panchamukhni, the famous 5-River Junction, where five different rivers meet. It's a serene and scenic spot to reflect on your jungle adventures.

Evening: Return to Kolkata
